Heather Rae El Moussais looking back on her earlySelling Sunsetdays amid rumors that she might be returning to the hit real estate show next season.
The HGTV star, 38, took a moment to reflect on how far she's come since starring as a full-time cast member on the Netflix reality series in a recentInstagram Reel.
“Season 1 Heather was cute but she had no idea what was coming 😂🤍 The life, the love, the chaos, the brand, she could never have dreamed this. So grateful for every hard chapter that got me here,” El Moussa wrote in her caption.
Along with her sentimental message, the HRE Beauty founder started off her Reel with a video of her speaking in a confessional-style clip onSelling Sunsetseason 1, followed by more more recent moments with her friends and family.
Among the clips is a sweet scene of her embracing her husbandTarek El Moussa, followed by another video of her reading to their three-year-old son Tristan.
Another video shows her holding a product from her beauty brand and smiling. In a different video, she's seen laughing withChristina Haack, who is her costar on HGTV'sThe Flip Offas well as Tarek's ex-wife.
“Heather from season 1Selling Sunsetcould never,” she wrote in white text over the Reel, before getting into the many reasons why she's happier now.

Heather was an original cast member onSelling Sunsetsince the show first premiered on Netflix in 2019. The series follows a group of highly competitive real estate agents at the Oppenheim Group as they work to sell the most luxurious listings in L.A.
Heather left the series after season 7, with asource confirmingto PEOPLE in December 2023 that she would not be returning for season 8. Months before that, in a separate interview, the star revealed Netflixhad not called her back to filmafter her maternity leave ended.
However, fans got a taste of what it would be like to have her back when shemade a brief cameo in season 9and had a sweet O Group reunion.

In March, reports were circulating that Heather andChristine Quinn, another original cast member, might be returning to the docusoap for season 10, however a source later told PEOPLE that nothing is confirmed yet.
"They arestill figuring out the cast," the insider said. Meanwhile, Netflix has yet to confirm thatSelling Sunsethas been renewed for another season.
