Zendayais sharing a few words of wisdom for brides and grooms.
Entertainment Weeklycaught up with the 29-year-old actress at the Los Angeles premiere of her wedding-themed dark comedyThe Dramaon Tuesday, March 17, where she offered her best advice for couples planning to tie the knot.
"Make sure you have all the conversations before you get married," Zendaya said. "Make sure you have a wedding DJ because that also causes a lot of drama."
TheEuphoriastar added, "Just have a beautiful day. It's really about you two."
She clarified that she was giving her advice "as Emma," her character inThe Dramawho is engaged toRobert Pattinson's character, Charlie, when the engaged reporter seemingly tried to sneak in aTom Hollandmarriage confirmation by asking for the advice "bride to bride."
Zendaya also spoke to PEOPLE at the event aboutwhat makes a wedding truly successful.
"Really good music," she said. "Because, I don't know, it's like dance is a universal language and people need music to set the vibe, to get the vibes going, get the party started. So good music."

Speaking to theAssociated PressatThe Dramapremiere, Zendaya explained why she guards her private life.
"There's a balance between hiding and then also just, like, living your life and enjoying your life and protecting things that are special to yourself," she said. "And I think everyone kind of has to do that in some way."
She continued, "Whatever kind of job that you have, whatever kind of field that you're in, or if you're dealing with, you know, social media, whatever have you, like, we all, in some ways, have to learn how to keep things for ourselves and pour into ourselves just as much as we pour into the world or our work."
The Dramahits theaters on Friday, April 3.
