Several WWE stars have called out Tom Brady after he claimed he would leave them "crying" if they tried to sack him during an interview on March 18

Tom Bradyruffled some pretty tough feathers.

Several WWE stars have spoken out since the former quarterback, 48, claimed he could leave WWE wrestlers "crying" if they tried to sack him during aninterviewwith Sports Illustrated on Wednesday, March 18, at the Fanatics Flag Football Classic Draft.

Brady, who alsotook a shot at Joe Burrowfor partying withAlix Earleon Wednesday, was seemingly leaning into his trash talk when he claimed, "They wouldn't even get near me," in response to a question about how many WWE wrestlers it would take to sack him.

Brady added, "Plus, if I had a good offensive line, they'd punch those guys right in the throat, and they'd probably be crying."

On Thursday, March 19, the WWE stars started responding to the retired NFL star.Charlotte Flairsaid, "A lot of words to say 'if i had five guys to protect me, I might be ok' 🫶🏻," and Danhausen hit backwith, "It would only take one@WWEsuperstar to CURSE Tim Bordy," in posts on X.

Nikki and Brie Bella's joint account posted the clip of Brady andwrote, "I bet I can sack you 😉."

Some fans claimed Brady's comments were a red herring for a potential upcoming appearance at Wrestlemania, though that remains online speculation. "100% chance he is at Wrestlemania this year. This is all a work," one postclaimed, while anothersuggestedhe would show up "at Mania to cost Logan [Paul] his match!"

Brady took shots at Burrow, 29, after the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was photographed with Earle, 25, singerTate McRaeand friendStassie KaranikolaouduringOscars weekend.

"That's what they called Joe the other night at those Oscars parties ... the Wildcat," Brady quipped. "At least he's here, no fashion shows to attend," Brady said.

Burrow stayed mum about Brady's dig during the draft, but he did shoot the Fox Sports analyst some side eye before eventually cracking a smile, videos onsocial mediashowed.
