ZendayaandTom Hollandare both in their element in the kitchen. But who's the better cook?

In aPEOPLE-exclusive clipfrom Friday's episode ofTheJennifer HudsonShow, Zendaya, 29, amid rapid-fire questions, weighed in on the culinary treats herfiancémakes for her.

"It's really cute," the star ofThe Drama(in theaters Friday, April 3) told host Hudson. Holland'sbrother Sam, a professional chef, "came out with a cookbookrecently. And it's really sweet because Tom will whip it out and he'll be like, 'Okay, I'm going to find all the vegetarian things and I'm going to try different recipes from my brother for you to try.'"

Zendaya has been vocal about sticking to her vegetarianism since age 11. Holland, 29,revealedon theDishpodcastin December 2024 that he has prepared vegetarian meals for his then-girlfriend as she was busy filming. The pair have beenengagedsince January.

Speaking to Hudson, 44, Zendaya then made a shocking confession. "He's actually, probably — I mean, now he'll know that I'm admitting this — the better cook," she said reluctantly.

"I try my best," added theDunestar. "My spicy vodka pasta is very good. I got a few things that I can do that I like, you know, I stick with that. But," she said, mock-coughing to hide the truth, "I think he might be better at it than me."

Of course, "to be fair," her frequent costar "can call his brother at any time," she added — something Zendaya could do too, Hudson pointed out.

Pegged to his cookbookKitchen Kickstart, Sam Holland toldThe Timeslast August that theSpider-Manstar was indeed making his vegetarian recipes for soon-to-be sister-in-law. "I sent those recipes Tom's way as he was on dinner duty while she was making a movie in Boston," the chef and author said. "He went through them one by one and really enjoyed them."

Elsewhere in her interview with Hudson, Zendaya named pottery and painting as recent hobbies,Sinnerswriter-directorRyan Coogleras her dream collaborator, and a favorite rom-com. "I don't know ifShrekcounts," she quipped when asked about the latter.

"That's my movie," Zendaya said of the 2001 animated comedy — ahead of starring inShrek 5(in theaters June 30, 2027). "People who know me know that. It's a pivotal movie in my life. It meant so much to be growing up."
