The actor, who has been undergoing treatment for stage three colon cancer and encouraging others to get checked for the disease, told his 1.6 million followers the last year, 'has been the hardest of my life,' in a video posted on social media. Labeling the clip 'What Cancer Taught Me,' the Dawson's Creek alum described how coming 'nose to nose with Death,' had helped him redefine who he is.
