James Bye looks decidedly dashing in first look images of his new role as Mr Darcy in the new stage production of Death Comes to Pemberley. Just days ago, the actor, 41, left EastEnders fans devastated when his character Martin Fowler was tragically killed off following an explosion at the Queen Vic. However, fans needn't mourn long as James has thrown himself straight into his new role, with the actor channeling Jane Austen's famous character in new promotional images.
