Democrats expressed fury about Elon Musk's role atop of the Department of Government Efficiency at the House's first DOGE subcommittee hearing - ripping the billionaire for 'nefarious things.' Firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., led the very first DOGE Subcommittee meeting Wednesday morning titled the 'War on Waste.' The panel was established to aid the efforts of Musk's DOGE and to identify areas of federal fraud, waste and abuse. However, shortly after the session began, Democrats began railing against the effort led by the Tesla CEO and X owner.
