Allison Holker will all the time keep in mind her late husband, Stephen "tWitch" Boss, and his enduring legacy within the dance group.
"Stephen 'tWitch' Boss was and will endlessly be an icon [and] a legend because he was really the most effective at what he did," Holker, 36, tearfully stated in a first glimpse of the So You Think You Can Dance season 18 auditions, which was released by way of TikTok on Friday, March 1. She continued, "To today, for me, my youngsters and everyone right here, he's nonetheless doing that. And how we honor him is by giving that life again because that's what he would want too.
Holker and Boss met throughout SYTYCD season 7 once they have been both tapped as "All-Star" mentors. They wed in 2013, 9 years earlier than Boss' dying. Us Weekly confirmed in December 2022 that Boss died by suicide at the age of 40. He's survived by Holker and their three youngsters: Weslie, 15, Maddox, 7, and Zaia, 3. (Weslie is Holker's daughter from a previous relationship, whom Boss had adopted.)

As Holker continued to navigate her grief, she signed on to return to her So You Think She Can Dance roots and sit on the decide's panel for season 18. The new episodes premiere Monday, March four, and will see Holker search for America's Prime Dancer alongside Maksim Chmerkovskiy and JoJo Siwa. "I missed tWitch. I wish that I received to do extra stuff with him or any stuff actually for that matter," Chmerkovskiy added. "We never really crossed paths professionally, but Allison's filling this place great."
So You Assume You Can Dance premieres on Fox Monday, March four, at 9 p.m. ET.
